⨺⃝ System Terminology and Boundaries ⨺⃝

As you may have realized or known upon interacting with us for a while, we're a system. We just have a couple of requests when it comes to interacting with us as a matter of politeness. This is not a DNI or any sort of harsh rule list. These requests do not apply to any system but ours. We also have a list of terminology we would prefer to be used when talking about us.

🜁 Requests
Request 1 - Please refer to the terminology list below when referring to us as a system, these are the terms we would prefer be used when it comes to speaking about us.
Request 2 - If you don't know who's fronting, don't assume! Just ask. If we don't know, do not speculate or try to draw someone out to front unless this is requested of you. Attempting to guess who it is or pull out a specific alter while we're blurry is distressing to us.
Request 3 - Do not assume familiarity with alters who haven't met you. While we try our best to be polite, assuming familiarity or friendship with an alter you've never spoken to is often uncomfortable for them and may cross their boundaries.
Request 4 - Do NOT drag us into pro/anti endogenic system discourse. I refuse to state a public pro/anti stance as I don't want to intentionally invite or provoke discourse.
Our Official Stance on the topic is that regardless of what you may personally believe, if you tell us you are a system, we will take that at face value and believe you. We have no right to deny who is and isn't a system, however we do have the right to block and disengage freely.

🜁 Terminology
Members of our System - Alters or Headmates
Us as a Whole - System or Collective. Our 'system name' is The Quintessence System or 'Quinnco' for short.
Other Terminology - We use standard terminology to refer to aspects of our system. Ie. Headspace, Fragment, Dormant/Dormancy, Split, Fronting, etc. Please do not assign us nonstandard terminology out of nowhere.
